Alejandro Ovalle
I am interested in enumerative algebraic geometry, moduli problems, derived categories, and the interplay between these areas.
I am a PhD student at the University of Hannover. I explore logarithmic algebraic geometry and applications in enumerative geometry.
Before that, I completed my master's degree at the University of Bonn, where I studied BPS and stable pair invariants on K3 surfaces. And, I did a research internship at the Max Planck Institute (MiS) on tropical curve counting.
